Our Story

"I've played many roles over the years while working in the sign industry. I spent most of my time in sales where I learned, both from the sales training I took and from personal experience, the value of building strong customer relationships. I've never worked for a company that had a full-time marketing person, so most of the time, the task of engaging with my customers was up to me."

"My goal was to touch base at least once a month with key customers, but I dreaded scheduling check in calls or sending emails when I had nothing of value to say. I knew, though, that it was important to stay connected even when my customers didn't have an immediate need. I began designing and writing content which I used as a reason to check in, and I saw the benefits. My customers tended to think of me first, and they better understood what our company offered. I felt like I was sharing ideas, not wasting their time with a routine check in."

"I created Sign Promoter to provide content that brings value and makes these important interactions more meaningful. The Toolkit topics focus on products and services offered by many sign companies, and I designed them to be versatile and customizable to fit a variety of needs. Seeing small independent sign businesses thrive is my goal, and I hope we can play a small role in that.
